Let's shape a sustainable food future together through education!

FEAST cordially invites you to the first Summer School 2025 in Ludwigsburg – an intensive, four-day learning programme aimed at future educators and teacher training students who want to get involved in future-oriented food education.

What can you expect?

A practical programme that combines education, nutrition, health and sustainability. The aim is to provide you with the knowledge, skills and self-confidence to effectively integrate these topics into your teaching – across all subjects and for all age groups.

Programme overview

Expert-led workshops and sessions with specialists from fields such as public health, nutrition, agriculture and food policy.

Key topics:

  • Food literacy
  • Food insecurity
  • Behavioural change
  • Food policy

 

The topics are anchored in the following curricula:
Secondary level I (grades 8-10)- Everyday culture, nutrition, social issues (AES)
Upper secondary level at community schools (grades 11-13) - Economics
Upper secondary level at community schools (grades 11-13) - Social studies

 

Interactive methods:

  • Collaborative group work
  • Practical exercises for lesson planning
  • Development of concrete teaching materials


Open Educational Resources (OER):
You will create your own OER materials that you can integrate directly into your lessons – and thus make a valuable contribution to the educational landscape.
